We’re moving towards a more collaborative approach to pay increases and offers, rather than just being a figure behind the scenes.To thrive we need a professional who understands advanced uses of MS Excel for this analysis. Having the ability to integrate multiple data sources to get the full picture of current compensation & how the university can achieve its goals for the future of employee compensation. While you’ll primarily be working with data from Kansas, having knowledge of wage and compensation laws in other states will be a big plus. This isn’t just a data focused role, it’s very interactive with employees & leaders, so effective and understandable communication is key. Let’s work together to create a fair and equitable future for all our university employees!Summary of ResponsibilitiesPlans, organizes and performs highly complex professional, technical and analytical work to implement human resources programs, policies and procedures related to human resources functional area.Essential FunctionsConsults with and proactively advises Human Resources Business Partners and leadership on human resources programs, policies and procedures.Provides prompt resolution of requests and questions specific to functional area, which may have been escalated due to the specialized and highly complex nature.Serves as a subject matter expert in functional area; works closely with leaders to understand, refine and prioritize their needs.Performs complex data analysis utilizing internal and external data to assist with decision making. Retrieves and organizes data for internal utilization and reporting.Evaluates programs, policies and procedures to assess effective utilization of resources and ensure progress on University’s strategic initiatives.
