Wireless Development QA Engineer

The Wireless Development Quality Assurance Engineer works within the R&D team to ensure the productivity, reliability and accuracy of the Fortinet's WLAN product lines. They review requirements and specifications, create test plans and design detailed test specifications that effectively evaluate the WLAN devices, in a fast-paced work environment. Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and functional test cases from functional specs
• Analyze and report test results to product teams
• Automate test cases using Python, maintain/enhance automation infrastructure and trouble shoot automation failures.
• Build new test infrastructure for automation setups
• Debug to analyze defect root cause, optimize test case and test automation
• Collaborate closely with the development team to analyze, debug and resolve issues

Job Requirements:

• Relevant course work or experience in wireless and/or networking preferred.
• Course work or experience in scripting, Python is a plus.
• Course work or experience working with Linux, UNIX, or Windows Operating Systems
• Fast learner with a good attitude
• Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering. Please submit a copy of your academic transcript with your resume for new grad.
  

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 - $85,000. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company’s discretion.
