About the Role MarTech is looking for a Principal QA Automation Engineer to lead, define, construct, and evolve our growing automation capabilities. This is an integral role responsible for the automated processes and tools that ensure a scalable level of quality and reliability within both new development and active systems. This role will construct and shepherd the technologies that simplify repeatable QA processes, and act as one of the first assets to alert us to irregularities in UI, code, managed processes, or systems. You will work closely with QA engineers, software engineers, product managers, systems administrators and others to bridge the gap between a identification, solution, and ultimately adoption of our automated quality processes. About You This role belongs to a QA engineer of leadership, foresight, detail, and communication that can envision automation at scale and shepherd its adoption with other engineers. They are an agent of quality and efficiency; aiming to automate any task that needs repeating. They are passionate about quality at scale, and is willing to take initiative to find and advocate for the department's future needs. Basic Qualifications 10 years of experience in automation frameworks and test strategy/plan development for web-based applications; ex: UI, API, and performance testing 8 years of experience in Object-Oriented concepts and programming languages (ex: Java) 5 years of experience using Selenium Webdriver, TestNG Annotations, JUnit, Grid, and similar technologies 3 years of experience with AWS, Docker, and related supporting technologies that operate automation at scale. Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience Other Qualifications Remarkable skills in defining, analytics, troubleshooting, and discovering solutions to technical and non-technical business problems alike Demonstrated experience in connecting CI/CD platforms with automation technologies and reporting tools Capable of holding a lead role in defining and implementing automation processes, metric, and release management tools (ex: Jenkins, Jira, Git) A natural curiosity in new technologies, tools, and processes that continue to push efficiency, capability, or improve team/project 'quality-of-life' Strong communication skills, proven ability to lead peers and colleagues, and consistent success in building alignment and adoption across teams Experience with AEM, AEM Cloud Manager, and Adobe Experience Cloud As a federal contractor, Workday is requiring all new hires to verify that they are fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 within 72 hours of beginning employment with Workday, consistent with applicable law.
