Workday Reporting Lead (Remote)

We are seeking a Workday Reporting Lead to drive key strategic reporting and analytic initiatives related to our HR community. This role provides expertise to our global HR networks to support design and governance for global HR Analytics. This role will report into the HR Reporting & People Analytics Leader, and will provide results-driven analytics in all key areas of the HR system. The person can be remote.
Role Overview
As the Workday Reporting Lead you will be responsible for ensuring the successful design, configuration, prototyping, testing, and maintenance of Workday reports and dashboards globally, with the goal of enhancing the overall employee experience. This role will be responsible for participating in defining the Workday reporting strategy and roadmap, as well as ensuring that reports meet customer requirements and specifications while following best practices and industry standards. You will partner with HR Technology, COEs, HRBPs, HR Operations and other key stakeholders to identify resource requirements, meet training needs, define project deliverables and execute reports as needed. You will ensure effective communications and relationships between your team, customers, and other involved parties are always maintained.
Essential Responsibilities

Lead the technical lifecycle of data presentation from data sourcing to transforming into user-facing metrics/information

Build and maintain effective relationships with project sponsors and key stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are clearly understood and output is aligned with business expectations

Conduct working sessions with key stakeholders to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements to ensure they are translated into functional specifications

Support development of business cases, project scoping, project alignment, and process documentation to ensure clarity and accountability of deliverables

Work closely with HR Technology, HR Analytics, regional and functional teams, and end-users to ensure successful design and testing of reports and dashboards according to the desired requirements and specifications

Design structured multi-source data solutions to deliver reports and/or dashboards that make data actionable for customers and other key stakeholders

Prepare periodic communications to stakeholders, work documents, and project plans using agreed upon project management tools

Identify and implement corrective actions quickly and independently in order to accomplish project objectives

Manage and advise on documentation of lessons learned, and feedback loops to ensure continuous improvement and deployment of best practices

Actively support the proper use, access, storage, and transmission of sensitive employee data and actively participate in system and data quality compliance

Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information

Use an open and collaborative approach to working with strategic partners both within HR and across the business
Qualifications

5+ years of experience within the HR function, preferably working with Workday Reports and Dashboards using HR data

Completion of Workday Report Writer training courses or Workday Report Writer proficiency, and in-depth understanding of Workday security

Familiarity with HR Technology, specifically Workday HCM Core, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent & Performance Management, Learning, and Diversity

Strong knowledge of full Workday reporting tool stack, including advanced reports, dashboards, scorecards and Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT)

Experience building and testing Workday reports and dashboards

High comfort level working in a fast-paced, results-oriented culture

Ability to handle multiple sub project teams, tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, despite conflicting demands

Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and relationship building skills; ability to establish credibility/rapport with stakeholders globally and in a virtual environment

Ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner with minimal guidance
Education/Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree required with 5+ years of experience in HR/reporting

Experience with Workday Prism is a plus
