QA Engineer (f/m/d)

We are Workerbase - an ambitious team working on an innovative software platform that helps digitize manual working processes. So far, we gained trust with Fortune 500 companies such as Porsche, Siemens, Gazelle Bikes, and many others, who are using our platform to optimize their workflows. We raised our Series A with €10m in 2022 from top investors such as Point 9, Almaz Capital, Porsche Ventures.

Now we need a QA Engineer to help us reach the next milestone.🚀

🪄 What we will trust you with is:

• Plan, execute, and improve manual and automated tests across our product suite.

• Drive the creation and maintenance of test plans, cases, and testing strategies.

• Build and scale end-to-end (E2E) testing processes, balancing automation and manual exploration.

• Spot, document, and follow through on bugs and issues, ensuring clear communication and swift resolutions.

• Work hand-in-hand with developers and product teams to clarify requirements, create reproducible scenarios, and drive quality from the start.

• Champion improvements in how we test and ship software by contributing to test meetings, reviews, and strategy sessions.

• Analyze test results and deliver clear, actionable test reports that help move the product forward.

• Support knowledge sharing and help level up junior testers and the broader team’s quality mindset.
  

🤝 We want YOU because:

• You bring 2–4 years of testing experience with complex software products, both manual and automated.

• You understand modern development workflows (Agile, Scrum) and knows how to plug testing seamlessly into the cycle.

• You have a critical eye, structured thinking, and a drive to dig deeper into issues.

• You communicate clearly and collaborates proactively with cross-functional teams.

• You have hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.

• You are familiar with test management platforms like Qase, Zephyr, TestRail, etc.

• You can script basic automated tests (Python, JavaScript, or similar)—bonus if you’re stronger here.

• You are able to stay curious, eager to learn and adopt new methods, tools, and technologies.

• Ideally, you hold a degree in computer science, business informatics, or brings equivalent practical experience (certifications like ISTQB are a plus).
