PA Director Of Voter Engagement

About the Working Families Party

The Working Families Party (WFP) is the progressive party for the multiracial working class, fighting for a nation that works for the many, not the few. We recruit, train, and support transformational candidates up and down the ballot — and run them to win.

We believe that no matter where we come from or what our color, most of us want the same things. We want to earn enough to thrive, not just survive, and leave a better future for our kids. We want healthy food and clean water, safe neighborhoods and a safe world. We want to be free.

The Working Families Party is regular people coming together across our differences to make a better future for us all. We’re a multiracial party that fights for workers over bosses and people over the powerful. We want an America which realizes the promise – unrealized in our history – of freedom and equality for all.

The Working Families Party is seeking a dynamic, data-driven, detail-oriented, and motivated Director of Voter Engagement to lead our early vote engagement efforts for the 2024 General Election. This critical role will focus on increasing voter participation and education in Pennsylvania by mobilizing people to vote early. The position is temporary, extending through November 2024, and requires the ability to mobilize effectively across various neighborhoods in Philadelphia and across PA.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and support a team of canvassers and organizers, providing guidance and ensuring they meet their voter engagement goals.
  • Communications: Develop and refine voter contact scripts, event descriptions, and other outreach materials to effectively communicate with diverse groups of people.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the progress of voter engagement efforts, making adjustments as necessary to improve metrics on early vote participation.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Pennsylvania (especially Philadelphia) elections and communities, particularly in Northwest, North, and West Philly.
