Position Overview

This role will require you to be onsite Monday through Friday in New York, NY.

Daily Harvest is looking for a dynamic and motivated Workplace Experience Associate to work in our New York City headquarters. This role offers the opportunity to organize and coordinate a broad range of office duties in a fast-paced, startup environment. This is a great opportunity for a self-directed individual who wants to drive office procedures as well as positively influence our company culture and team member experience.

Your role is critical as you will create and maintain an excellent work environment, ensuring high levels of organization, efficiency, and team happiness. We are seeking an energetic professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, and who can provide a wide range of administrative and executive support with minimal supervision. Our ideal candidate will be a well-organized, flexible, motivated, and positive person who enjoys the opportunity to make a difference in every team member's office experience.

What you'll do:

Workplace Experience

  • Greet and provide support to all visitors and candidates, always ensuring a great first impression for our company + act as the main point of contact for all Daily Harvest inquiries that come to the office via phone, fax, or mail
  • Be the point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills, and errands
  • Coordinate, arrange catering, and host all in-office events (lunches, social hours, All Hands, holiday parties, board meetings, Team Member Resource Group (TMRG) events, hybrid recruiting events, etc.)
  • Organize office operations and procedures for all office floors while creating a more environmentally sustainable office
  • Own the onsite guest calendar, visitor form, and conference room calendar management
  • Maintain the professional look of the office by executing daily walkthroughs
  • Keep track of all supplies, source cost savings, and maintain stock
  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlord
  • Solve office related issues to ensure a cohesive community
  • Creatively design and implement various methods of growing and maintaining a fun, professional environment

People Operations Support

  • Support both People Operations and Talent Acquisition teams
    • Future tasks could include scheduling interviews, sending out NDAs, creating offer letters
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation for new team members joining Daily Harvest
  • Distribute the First Day Email and Orientation email to new team members before/on their first day
  • Assist with providing a high-touch, high quality candidate to team member experience
  • Assist with all administrative requests including scanning mail, delivering packages to team members that arrive at the office, and PO box runs when needed
  • Ad hoc projects

Team Member Experience (TMX)

  • Organize, plan, and oversee logistics for internal events virtually and IRL such as birthday celebrations, social hours, All Hands, team building events, holiday events, etc.
  • Plan, coordinator, and assist with our annual company retreat (Harfest)
  • Own, execute, ship, track, and manage swag distribution for new team members, anniversaries, surprise and delight moments, and holiday gifts
  • Assist with DEI+B events such as TMRG events, Sustainability Speaker Series, Talent Acquisition Hybrid Recruiting Events, etc.
  • Continuously improving on ways to elevate the experience of a team member

Who you are:

  • Bachelors or commensurate experience
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail balanced with a drive to get things done
  • Strong problem-solving skills; you can think on your feet
  • Ability to communicate effectively with HQ and hybrid team members using digital channels such as Gmail, Slack, etc.
  • Self-motivation and desire to excel in the role
  • Project Management skills - the ability to plan a project from start to finish
  • Passion for planning engaging and fun events
  • Adaptability, initiative, and Integrity
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and help with any task
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment is a must

The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is $30.00 - $33.50. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
