The Opportunity - Workers Compensation Specialist (Remote - USA)
We are looking for an enthusiastic Workers’ Compensation Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be tasked with reviewing customer workers’ compensation applications and addressing various customer requests related to Workers Compensation. You will also be tasked with managing the Certificate of Insurance program. While this role involves a variety of different skills, the primary focus is to assist the team with assessing and underwriting workers compensation risks, in addition to serving clients through issuing Certificates of Insurance in a timely manner.
What you’ll Do:
Manage certificate of insurance process, including issuing from Wrapbook’s workers’ compensation provider consistent with customer specifications
In conjunction with the Workers Compensation Analyst, review workers’ compensation underwriting applications submitted by Wrapbook customers to determine whether Wrapbook will approve or decline a project
Manage mail review and organization process
Support other team members as needed, and serve as backup when needed
Participate in projects under the direction of the Senior Director of Risk Management
Cross train on Agency team tasks, such as Certificate of Insurance issuance, review of client COI’s, file organization, application process
Gain basic knowledge of workers compensation statutory requirements
Learn Wrapbook’s policies and procedures
What you’ll Have:
Strong customer-facing written and verbal communication skills
2+ years working on workers compensation
A background working on entertainment accounts is a plus
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet daily deadlines to satisfy quick turnaround customer requests
Ability to work West Coast hours a plus
Experience working with Salesforce a plus
