Department Summary

The Writing Center at the University of North Texas provides support for undergraduate and graduate writers across the disciplines. Our mission is to help students improve as writers at all levels, and we support a culture of teaching and learning at UNT through peer tutoring, interactive workshops, classroom support, and consultation with faculty and staff.

Supporting undergraduate and graduate research

Position Summary

Writing Center tutor to work with students at UNT’s Frisco campus.

Additional Posting Details

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree. Strong writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in writing centers and/or tutoring students.

Required License / Registration / Certification

Work Schedule

Flexible. 8 to 10 hours weekly.
