Job DescriptionThis OpportunityAt WSP, graphic design is more than just aesthetics; it's a form of visual storytelling that captivates, enlightens, and motivates our clients. We are in search of a creative graphic designer who can transform concepts and ideas into compelling visual narratives, both in print and digital formats, for our national Earth & Environment business. This position can be filled from any US office where we have an office, including Orlando, DC, Houston, San Francisco, Atlanta, Denver, and Minneapolis to name just a few.The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of modern design tools and excel in every phase of the design journey, from ideation to the finished product. Working collaboratively with marketing and technical teams across the company, the graphic designer will be adept at interpreting verbal or written directions into designs that resonate. The right candidate will have a comprehensive grasp of branding and marketing, with the ability to tailor the style and layout to suit each unique project.Your Impact• Works successfully under the direction of senior designers.• Creates highly polished, aesthetically pleasing, original artwork, illustrations, and visual solutions, using custom graphic design, infographics, video clips and motion graphics, audio, text, and statistical data, delivered in print and online formats.• Maintains knowledge of and proficiency with the latest technologies and trends in the graphic design environment. May require researching and employing new software technology and design/development techniques.• Collaborates with project managers and teams, including accepting critiques and addressing feedback• High attention to detail and quality.• Highly collaborative.• Excellent listener and communicator.• High proficiency in planning and communicating ideas and messages using visual and textual content.• High proficiency in developing visual content for a variety of digital and print platforms.• High proficiency in designing interactive experiences across multiple digital platforms.• High proficiency in taking a project task from start to finish.• Experience designing for tradeshows/conferences and social media.Who You AreRequired Qualifications• BA in Graphic Design or related field• 3-5+ years' experience as a graphic designer• 2+ years' experience in the AEC industry is a strong plus• Advanced experience using graphic design principles such as color, form, and balance to create original design concepts that inform and engage technical and non-technical audiences.• High proficiency in Mac or PC-based Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Creative Cloud), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Docs, MS Teams and other collaboration software/sites.WSP Benefits:WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee's career. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.Expected Salary (Colorado only): $64,000 - $103,070WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position within the state of Colorado, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
