WVU Medicine, West Virginia University Health System Medical Group (WVUHS Medical Group) is actively recruiting a Primary Care/Family Medicine Physician at Thomas Health System in Charleston, WV and South Charleston, WV.


Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed a Family Medicine residency program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in Family Medicine. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Family medicine.

Location: West Virginia’s capital city is perfectly positioned at the confluence of the Kanawha and Elk rivers. It’s also where three major interstates converge, making it a highly accessible destination for visitors looking for an affordable getaway. Charleston boasts the history you’d expect of a capital city, but a growing arts scene and its riverside position makes it a hub for recreation and culture, too.
