Reporting directly to the COO, the Finance Operations Manager will oversee all financial operations and statutory requirements across the company’s geographical footprint. This role has the potential to grow significantly as the client base and company footprint expands rapidly over the coming years.
Oversee the finance and accounting services in the organization including the reporting, payables and receivables, audits, statutory payments, compliances, direct and indirect taxation, payroll, insurance, etc.
Ensure consistency and standardization in the accounting processes (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable).
Work with our external partners for monthly preparation of the company financials and financial reporting for subsidiaries in multiple jurisdictions as per local GAAP standards & preparation of consol level financials as per Singapore GAAP/IFRS.
Ensure that the accounting policies, processes, and business practices comply with and are maintained in accordance with relevant legal and statutory requirements.
Preparation of filings for audit & compliance purposes in local jurisdictions.
Take charge of communications with external auditors for annual statutory audits.
Manage our multiple global geographies to ensure we are compliant with taxation, filing, and other requirements in each geography.
Cash management & optimization of treasury functions.
Build & manage relationships with multiple partners & vendors including banking relationships and auditors in multiple geographies.
Qualified CA/CPA and CS with minimum 5 years of overall experience with atleast 2 years of experience in a reputed accounting/audit firm.
Strong understanding of transfer pricing models, local & cross border tax implications, intra-company lending, equity infusions etc.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, laws and any other compliance requirements.
Hands-on experience in global IFRS accounting standards. Ability to work with multiple GAAP standards & translations specifically India, Singapore, UK & Hong Kong.
Accountable and adopts a 'business-owner' work mentality.
Has excellent communication skills and can engage with diverse people.
