Director of Data Science & Machine Learning - Pricing - job 1 of 2

Xometry is looking for a strategic leader in data science and machine learning to drive the pricing strategy and development of ML models for improved predictions of manufacturing costs and automated pricing on the Xometry platform.

Skills

8+ years experience in developing and implementing machine learning algorithms
Expertise in scalable architectures and Agile environments
Deep knowledge of marketplace optimization and pricing theory
Experience in end-to-end model development and deployment lifecycle
Strong fluency in Python, SQL, Tensorflow, PyTorch, and data warehouse technologies

Responsibilities

Lead the data science & machine learning team in developing and implementing machine learning models
Collaborate with key stakeholders to set priorities aligned with business goals
Iterate and evolve ML models based on internal and external feedback
Drive business results through cross-team projects and new ML opportunities
Monitor and troubleshoot machine learning models and AI performance
Contribute to documentation and knowledge base for effective AI utilization

Education

PhD in a quantitative field or BS/MS with equivalent work experience
