Product Designer (Freelance/Contract) 3 months duration

We are seeking an experienced product designer to redesign our web product with marketplace feature. You will collaborate with the Xsolla team (product owner and intern designers) for the next 3 months. 

Essentials:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in product design (especially marketplaces or b2c portals).

- Ability to create eye-catching interfaces and a systematic mindset.

- You know how to add interactions and some fun to an interface.

- You have a portfolio or examples of completed projects.

Start in August. The Asia-based time zone is preferred (but we're flexible). 

• Design for web product with marketplace features.
• Research competitors.
• Review current features and design approach. 
• Creating redesign concept.
• Create wireframes and UI design.
• Propose and initiate features and improvements.
• Update current pages and layouts following the redesign concept.
• Creating pixel-perfect designs as templates for developers in Figma.
• Creating a request for visual assets if needed for the redesign (will be provided by an outsourced visual designer).
• Communicate with the team, be available on demand, and keep the team up to date

• At least 3 years of experience in product design (especially marketplaces or b2c portals).
• A strong eye, problem-solving mindset, and visual design skills (creating a non-boring interface).
• Experience in strategic product design thinking and the ability to go from discovery to execution in an iterative approach.
• Ability to come up with Product conceptualization.
• Collaborative and open-minded.
• Proficiency in Figma: components, library, interactions, etc. 
• Proficient English skills (written and spoken)
