Yardkeeper - Temporary

Responsible for trash/debris mitigation at all exterior areas of the Medical Center grounds and maintains aesthetic appearance of medical center grounds.

Essential Functions:

Clean and remove trash and debris at all campus entrance, sidewalk and driveway locations, gutters, trashcans, cigarette urns and other exposed areas on a daily basis or as needed and required.

Operates facility mobile street sweeper equipment, powered equipment and hand tools.

Assist the Senior Gardener as required.

Promotes and enforces a safe environment for members, patients and staff.

Perform other related duties as necessary.

No supervisory responsibilities.

Grade 105

Basic Qualifications:

Valid California driver's license.

Ability to read a limited number of two (2) and three (3) syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.

Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Must be willing to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment.
