We’re looking for an experienced Sr. Commission Analyst to join our growing Revenue Operations team at Zapier. Revenue Operations at Zapier is responsible for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of go-to-market programs with technology, data, and process. We identify, implement, and manage GTM tooling, we bridge data and system gaps, and we deliver insights to inform strategic decision-making.

You’ll serve as one of the revenue operations team’s analytics experts by administering commission plans across GTM teams, supporting in the building of the plans on an annual basis, and supporting our sales team and cross-functional partners in the contracting and closing of deals.

About You

  • You have 4+ years of experience. You have worked in a Deal Desk or Commission Analyst role at a B2B or SaaS company where you have experience in creating and administering commission plans across many different roles, you have supported in contracting and negotiations and internal approval processes, and are really comfortable working across teams in a business.

  • You love working with data. You have demonstrated the ability to analyze data to identify new opportunities and drive future decisions, while effectively weighing investment versus potential business outcome.

  • Problem-solving energizes you. You don’t hesitate to jump in and help team members understand commissions, you can answer questions confidently and know how you use your resources to find answers to things you don’t know.

  • You live in the details. You know that your role requires accuracy and a relentless attention to detail and pride yourself in double and triple checking numbers to ensure we are paying our teams accurately and on time.

  • You’re an outstanding communicator. You communicate successfully across teams at a growing organization. You ask questions to uncover the goals and motivations of your colleagues. You’re able to use data to tell a clear story and create actionable recommendations for go-to-market teams.

Things You’ll Do


  • Own the day to day administration of commission plans for all of our commissionable roles

  • Work with our teams to answer questions about commission plans, resolve questions about calculations and make changes as needed.

  • Annually you will spend time working across leadership teams to adjust or craft entirely new commission plans to ensure we are aligning our plans to business needs.

  • You will work directly with sales reps and manager in the negotiating stages of their deals to approve concessions and customizations

  • Utilize DealHub, QuotaPath, and Hubspot as your main tools for tracking and reporting
