New Business Summer Intern

ABOUT THE JOB


We are currently searching for a New Business Intern to support Zeno’s larger New Business team. This position will encompass a wide array of responsibilities with a focus in supporting the team in various phases of new business pitching, administrative assistance, asset management and team organization. Personal drive and a desire to support the agency’s growth will be key to your success.


Responsibilities
  • Learn and execute proven processes to successfully support new business pitches and growth opportunities
  • Support the New Business team to prioritize tasks, create timelines, and track projects from inception to delivery
  • Collaborate with strategy and planning, creative and subject matter experts to support research needs and help develop dynamic, winning proposals
  • Partner with new business and marketing to develop agency assets and materials
  • Assist with streamlining production workflows to reduce turnaround time, while maintaining Zeno Group’s quality standards
  • Help gather project requirements and allocate agency resources
  • Gain exposure to and build relationships with agency leadership 


About You
  • An ideal candidate will have an understanding of public relations and, preferably, previous agency experience. In addition, the candidate should have prior job or internship experience in public relations or a related communications field. We look forward to hearing from bright candidates who are self-motivated and committed to exceeding client, industry and personal expectations. 
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) and, if hired, present proof of vaccination before start date. Candidates may request an accommodation due to a disability or sincerely held religious belief or an exception required under applicable law.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 6 months internship experience in public relations, marketing or a related communications field
  • Understanding of public relations
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and exceptional interpersonal skills are a must
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Collaborative spirit, results driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines
  • Must be pro-active and able to operate effectively both independently and within a team
  • MS Office proficiency is a must


Pay rate: $18/hour USD

 

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
