Zilliz is a fast-growing startup developing the industry’s leading vector database company for enterprise-grade AI. They are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to develop distributed database systems using innovative data science platforms, design core architecture code, and optimize system performance.

Skills

4+ years of experience in developing database systems
Active contributor to infrastructure software
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

Responsibilities

Develop distributed database systems using Zilliz’s data science platforms
Create and test request plans, prototype new systems
Design and write core architecture code
Optimize product performance and stability
Research emerging technology for platform optimization
Manage the Milvus open-source community

Education

Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, software engineering, or other relevant disciplines
