Position Overview: 
  
The Senior/Lead Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for supporting all of the system and process needs of specific user groups within our company, such as Sales, Ecommerce, Procurement, Logistics, etc. The position focuses on developing a complete understanding of the end-users' business needs and designing system solutions to effectively support those business processes. The BSA serves as the primary liaison between the business users and the development teams.
  
What you’ll do as the Senior/Lead Business Systems Analyst:

  • Delivering solutions that improve business functions for Our company.
  • Providing product ownership for application development/enhancements/fixes requested by an assigned business area.
  • Developing business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Building and contributing to the construction and delivery of IT roadmaps for the assigned business/functional area.
  • Creating and maintaining constructive, positive partnerships between IT and assigned business/functional areas.
  • Fully understanding the business processes of users in the areas of responsibility.
  • Providing application and Subject Matter Expert (SME) support.
  • Managing and resolving support issues and escalations as assigned.
  • Ensuring root causes are identified and appropriately communicated and documented.
  • Execute core configuration activities of ERP systems.
  • Ensure proper financial postings and journal entries within the ERP framework.
  • Map and configure processes related to warehouse and inventory management.
  • Understand financial postings, journal entries, subledger activities, and General Ledger (GL) processes.
  • Manage the flow of vouchers through the system.
  • Analyze and map business processes to ERP system capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain capability maps and heatmaps to assess how well business needs are met.
  • Plan and prioritize future enhancements based on ROI and business value.
  • Manage the lifecycle of system bugs, including creation, information addition, triage, and resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure effective bug resolution.
  • Communicate with users to confirm that solutions meet their needs.
  • Lead smaller projects or initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Suggest process improvements based on system capabilities.
  • Ensure end-to-end ownership of processes, from identifying needs to implementing solutions.
What you will bring to the team: 
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • CBAP certification is an advantage.
  • Highly preferred: MS Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate.
  • 4+ years of experience in business systems analysis, data analysis, systems functional analysis, and business case development.
  • Background in supporting Professional Services business units and familiarity with core business processes such as project management, resource management, timekeeping, expense management, services billing, and P&L.
  • Experience with Tier-1 PSA tools—Tenrox preferred.
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems, particularly in financial configuration and implementation.
  • Familiarity with database management and basic programming for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools for reporting and analysis.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, users, systems, and deadlines.
  • Team player with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
  • Experience with Tier-1 PSA tools—Tenrox preferred.
  • Highly preferred: MS Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate.
