ZoomCare is seeking a Collaborating Physician (Per Diem) to join our team! The Collaborating Physician is responsible for providing clinical support and collaborating with other physicians and advanced practice providers and provides education and mentorship to the ZoomCare provider workforce.

Master the ZoomCare “team care” approach (our method of referrals, follow-up, etc).
Provide on-call clinical and medical decision support to our providers (amount of calls may vary depending on collaborating physician numbers, vacation time, and leave times).
Provide occasional support to patients for critical lab results and prescription troubleshooting when ordering/prescribing provider is not available, with the assistance of the Patient Support Center (PSC)
Review and as possible resolve in-box items for other members of the CP team who are not in clinic that day
Collaborate with other physician leaders to strengthen our evidence-based platform and develop point-of-care clinical guidelines.
Create medical content in the form of presentations to clinical colleagues and clinical recommendations.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
5+ years of clinic practice experience, preferred.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
WORKING CONDITIONS
Clinical support shifts start at 7:00 AM and continue until midnight for support of providers in the field. Ability to work no less than two shifts a month. During these shifts, you:
May work from home, but must be readily available by phone, secure messaging system, have computer/internet access and athena access.
Must remain available by phone for rare support needs from midnight to 7:00 AM.
The number of shifts may be flexible, based on business needs and the collaborating physician’s schedule.
Ability to work at a computer/workstation for prolonged periods of time.
Close and distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
Seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly in order to effectively communicate with others.
Exposure to sensitive and confidential information..
Follows the Per Diem policy guidelines for shift requirements.
