You are an instrumental part of the Zscaler Cloud Operations team which oversees availability, latency performance, efficiency, monitoring, and emergency response. This role is perfect for an emerging engineer passionate about driving new product developments in the DevOps and SRE space.Possible Projects/Responsibilities:• Configuration Management and Architecture: Drive configuration management, building a robust, secured and scalable release architecture.• Enhanced System Visibility: Implement advanced logging, metrics, and monitoring for effective incident management.• Collaborative Development: Work alongside software developers and engineers, ensuring adherence to established processes and optimal functionality.• Innovative CI/CD Pipelines: Develop CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid delivery and prototyping of new products.Minimum Qualifications:• Rising Junior or Senior working towards aBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field in progress• Proficiency in key programming languages relevant to the role (e.g., Python, Java, C++, etc.).• Experience in being able to effectively lead a team of cross-functional engineers• Knowledge with infrastructure components: Systems, Network or ObservabilityPreferred Qualifications:• Scripting Skills: Competency in bash and/or Python scripting is crucial.• CI/CD Automation Expertise: Experience in complex CI/CD automation• Monitoring & Logging Management: Strong experience in managing monitoring and logging systems.Non-Exempt Role: Base Pay is Hourly*#LI-JM8Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level.
