IT Systems Engineer

As part of our IT team, you will work closely with various departments to ensure our IT infrastructure supports our overarching mission. We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer who is passionate about designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IT systems that facilitate our cutting-edge projects in the aerospace sector.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
• Manage and maintain servers, networks, and storage solutions.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Select & manage software products to support the core business.
• Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place to protect sensitive information.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.
• Support end-users with technical issues and provide training as needed.
• Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in IT systems engineering or management.
• Strong knowledge of system administration, networking, and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with network security protocols and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Due to the nature of the work applicants must be US Citizens with no known issues that would prevent them from obtaining security clearance.
