About the Role

Zuru Tech Italy is looking for a skilled Front End Web Developer to join our full-stack team, which includes Python developers and computational mechanics engineers. You will play a crucial role in developing the visualization tools for our structural simulation software module. If you are passionate about creating user-friendly web applications and have experience with Python, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in the construction industry.

• Develop and maintain the client-side of our BIM software, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Utilize markup languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create responsive and visually appealing web pages.
• Collaborate closely with Python developers and computational mechanics engineers to integrate front-end functionality with back-end services.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance across various devices and browsers.
• Design and implement mobile-based features to enhance usability and accessibility.
• Gather feedback from users and incorporate it into functional prototypes.
• Write functional requirement documents and guides to facilitate collaboration within the team.
• Create quality mockups, prototypes, and interactive demos to visualize design concepts.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging front-end issues in collaboration with back-end developers.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our software.

• Proven work experience as a Front End Developer, preferably in a full-stack or agile environment.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Familiarity with complex data and 3d visualization libraries like Plotly.js and Three.js.
• Good understanding of Python and its application in web development.
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging tools.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools.
• In-depth understanding of the web development lifecycle (design, development, deployment).
• Knowledge of layout aesthetics and responsive design.
• Experience with design software (e.g., Adobe Suite, Figma) and content management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Self-motivated with a straight-to-the-point decision-making approach.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.

• Experience working with BIM software or in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with computational mechanics principles and their application in software development.
• Knowledge of software engineering principles, including algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
