Senior Financial Analyst - Remote

Zywave is currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for performing analysis and reporting related to the company’s sales, commissions, and financial performance as well as preparing and assisting with analysis of the company’s operating results and financial position, including presentations for management and board of directors. You will be responsible for evaluating financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts; identifying trends and recommending actions to management as well as identifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.Why Should You Apply?As the Financial Analyst, you will compile and analyze department and product line profitability analyses as well as lead departmental expense reviews. You will analyze and recommend options for company improvement in revenue generation and expense reduction. You will be responsible for assisting with planning, developing, and preparing inputs for company’s budgets and forecasts including assistance with preparation of budget presentations for management and board of directors. You will also complete month-end financial analysis and reporting tasks, perform monthly review of financial results, including suggestion of necessary reclassification entries. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data and creating financial models for decisions upport as well as assist with transfer pricing and allocation calculations.Factors for Success• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting• 4-6 years of professional experience in Finance or Accounting• General technical knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, cash management, and financial analysis processes• Experience working with SaaS metrics• Strong financial modeling skills• Able to work with managers throughout the company in analyzing financial situations• Sage Intacct and Salesforce experience desirable• Strong written and oral communication skills• Strong analytical, quantitative, and Excel skills• Detail oriented• Strong organizational skills• Ability to maintain a high level of financial confidentiality• Ability to streamline functions and a passion to learn and growCompany BackgroundWhy pick Zywave?
