Sale Rep
September 2013 — February 2017
About the role
Getting my feet wet with my very first serious sales role. I have had sold Verizon services to new and current customers upgrading phones and plans while adding new lines of service to customers things like tables and mobile internet WiFi hotspots and wearables. Building relations with the local community and where I started to develop that skill. I handled cash and checks and even performed tech support for customer instead of sending them to customer service. That was how I started to build a name for myself in the community.

Sales and customer service
February 2017 — August 2019
About the role
My job was to sell new products and services to new and maintain business with existing customers. My name was known around that area and made my job much easier from my previous job. People came to me and the location for maintaining current account bills and prices so I have many opportunities to upsell and maintain relationships I sold the new (at the time) xfinity mobile service and home security on top of TV and internet. There was much turn around business for customers coming and paying on the account I was also in charge of my on flow of cash, checks and electric payment receipts. I also swapped and upgraded customers to newer equipment and demo’ed the new products in the store.

Sales Rep customers Service Driver
August 2019 — November 2020
About the role
My role as a driver was very independent. I have very long days that started from 2am and would last sometimes until 4pm. Outside of delivering uniforms and products. I have meet with very many business owners and mangers from many organizations from property management companies, mechanics, Government facilities, hospitals and many more. I built relationships with them they knew my name and would see me every week and I would upsell other services and products that meets the needs to help the business. Even services that they were unaware we offered.

Sales Manager and General Manger
January 2021 — April 2022
About the role
At my Role at Ashley I was placed in my first official leadership position. My I accepted this job not because I wanted to make tons of money of even though that would be great but my manger position was that of taking a leadership role! I was the first Sales manger of the very first Ashley/Regency location in the state of Maryland a Hybrid Store. My goal was to inspire and hire and develop sales people into a role and instill confidence into them to become successful. I have learned how to lead meetings attend and Participate in conference calls with other mangers and Higher-Up’s set metric’s and goal plan with my sales team. But these are things that come standard with many jobs in that role. What my true passion and what I feel were my true accomplishments were taking the time to understand the men and women who work with me everyday. I have succeeded in helping 3 sales people get their very first homes with hard work and focus. I have taught the team how to play chess and that they play today with me to teach focus and planning. Outside of that I have helped many employees at the store with personal issues and have earned the trust and seen them rise up even to the employees that were no longer working at the location. I was never looked at as a boss or a manger but as a true leader, mentor and friend. That is what makes me feel good about working there with a staff of under 15 people.
