An antitrust lawyer with a particulat interest in researching Alzheimer's Disease

Other than being an antitrust lawyer, in my spare time, I relentessly research Alzheimer's Disease, after having lost my wonderful mother to it. It is my utmost belief that Alzheimer's Disease (AD) remains, to date, one of the most misunderstood lethal diseases of our time, essentially due to a narrow-minded, "one size-fits-all" drug-based approach of conventional medicine, which continues to ignore the root causes of the disease, despite the complete failure of approved drugs and lack of any progress in developping new treatments, for more than a decade. In the face of such tremendous failure of conventional medicine, I am interested in looking at AD from a different and much wider angle of functional medicine, exploring the possibility that AD may not be a single, strictly neurological disease but a cohort of inflammatory diseases with root causes in various pathologies, different from patient to patient.
