finally got two interview reach outs today after being unemployed since 2024

man, i can’t even explain how grateful i am for this sub right now. it’s been a lifeline, helping me feel less alone and more connected with all of you. i got laid off from my FAANG job last september and have had less than 5 actual interviews, none making it past the second round. the rejection emails vs. the number of applications i’ve sent out is honestly heartbreaking. i even got ghosted after a VC recruiter screen. old colleagues referred me to roles, and i’ve been totally ignored.

thank you to everyone for sharing successes, advice, rants, and support on here. i’m really manifesting that things are turning around, and i’m confident i’ll land something soon. these upcoming interviews are for jobs that fit my salary range and field, so i’m feeling hopeful! good vibes to all 🙌
