POSITION OVERVIEW  

This role supports the delivery of HR projects, policies, programs, and procedures. You will focus on tasks with the usage of core platforms supporting HR initiatives, supporting onboarding efforts and assisting with day-to-day HR department operations.


This HR Coordinator position will sit at the 174 Power Global location in Irvine, CA reporting to the VP, Human Resources.


RESPONSIBILITES
  • Partner with HR team to manage new hire setup and onboarding requirements.
  • Assist with candidate pre-boarding activities, onboarding, and off boarding activities.
  • Assist with new hire orientation program and act as a back-up facilitator.
  • Assist with day-today office facilities related tasks such as providing front desk coverage when Office Administrator is away.
  • Maintain employee personnel files.
  • Provide general guidance to staff around people, policies, and programs
  • Support and assist with company-wide policy and initiative roll-out
  • Support broader People initiatives around employee engagement, equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), performance management and retention.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, union and federal regulatory agency regulations and requirements.
  • Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, IT, accounting, or related field (preferred, not required).
  • Insist on the highest standards, have an outstanding work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work schedule and transition between projects and tasks seamlessly to meet deadlines and business needs.
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, creativity, and agility.
  • Solid attention to detail in composing and proofing documents, prioritizing, and achieving desired outcomes promptly.
  • Strong service orientation with a proven desire to go above and beyond.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues as an employee in Human Resources.
  • A team player with a professional demeanor with sound judgement and the ability to handle confidential matters.
  • Ability to effectively use typical business and HR tools including HRIS systems, HR intranet site, MS Office Suite, etc.
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future.


$40 - $45 an hour
6 Month Contract
