Mobile Therapist (Independent Contractor): License Preferred

Access Services is seeking to contract with mobile therapists (MT) to provide services to children and families in their homes in Allentown, PA and Berks County. Learn more about our team here: Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) - Access Services.

Work Locations: Allentown, PA and the surrounding Berks County region.

Schedule: Evening availability required; Each contractor will develop their own schedule according to the client's needs.

Client Hours: Ranging from 1-12 clients according to contractor's preference.

Essential Responsibilities of Mobile Therapist:

  • Provide weekly therapeutic services and interventions with the child and family addressing identified problems.
  • Provide individual and family therapy that is individualized to each child/adolescent and their family’s strengths and needs.
  • Ensure quality treatment by the consistent tracking of data for client’s specific therapeutic goals.
  • Collaborate with other systems and supports involved with the child/adolescent/family in order to maintain continuity of care.
  • Complete assessments and treatment updates as required by the agency and Managed Care Organizations

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a recognized clinical discipline with documented training in behavioral health techniques and/or psychotherapy (required)
  • Licensed professional in the state of PA in one of the following (preferred, higher rates apply):
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS)
    • Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
  • 1+ years of experience providing clinical behavioral health services to children and families (required)
  • Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum as part of a graduate program (required)
  • Valid U.S. driver's license for at least two years, with no suspensions in the last 48 months (required)
  • Regular access to a reliable vehicle, and car insurance with your name listed on it (required)

Pay:

  • $38/hourly-$44/hourly; Higher rates apply to licensed mobile therapists
