Summary:

Our Data & Analytics team is looking for a technically minded, curious individual who is passionate about uncovering meaningful insights to help make learning more engaging and enjoyable for young learners. 


In a guided collaborative setting, this individual will use descriptive and prescriptive analytics to identify user behaviors and develop self-serve tools and dashboards for stakeholders, leveraging strong business understanding and close collaboration with the Product Analytics team and cross-functional partners.  


The ideal candidate embraces a growth mindset and demonstrates the ability to continuously learn, unlearn, and adapt in a dynamic environment.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop a strong understanding of product and business context to frame the right questions and deliver relevant insights. 
  • Explore user behavior through data, including building user segments and journey maps to uncover patterns and share actionable insights with the team. 
  • Build and maintain production-grade data pipelines that support scalable, self-serve dashboards and in-depth analysis. 
  • Learn the end-to-end A/B testing process, including defining impact metrics, estimating potential outcomes, and evaluating test results to guide product decisions. 
  • Build predictive models to identify opportunities that drive user engagement, retention, and conversion within the product. 
  • Work with unstructured data, such as user feedback and reviews, to analyze sentiment and share key takeaways that inform product improvements. 
  • Communicate analytical findings effectively through coherent insights, presentation, and visualizations that support stakeholder decision-making. 
  • Hands-on experience with product analytics and data science in a mission-driven edtech company 
  • Exposure to end-to-end analytics workflows from data exploration to presentation 
  • A deeper understanding of how data informs real product and user experience decisions 


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be a 3rd or 4-th year undergraduate or graduate currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field 
  • Strong interest in applying analytics to solve real-world product challenges 
  • Familiarity with SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or R 
  • Basic understanding of data visualization tools 
  • Exposure to statistical techniques like hypothesis testing, regression, or experimentation is a plus 
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn and collaborate 


Total Compensation:

The estimated compensation range for a new hire in this position is $21.00/hour to $25.00/hour USD. Compensation may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
