RN'S & LPN'S - Summer Camp (Special Needs) - Upstate New York

As an RN or LPN at the AHRC New York City Summer Camp, your responsibilities will include reviewing camper medical records, collaborating with parents and staff to create individualized health plans, ensuring the health and safety of campers and staff, providing medical care, maintaining accurate records for prescriptions and treatments, dispensing medication, conducting daily sick calls, and managing the inventory of medical supplies. You'll have the opportunity to impact the lives of campers positively while working in a fun, outdoor setting.

To work as an RN or LPN at AHRC New York City Summer Camp, candidates must possess a valid nursing degree and state license (NY). CPR and First Aid certifications are necessary, and if you don't have these prior to camp, they will be provided. Additionally, you must complete mandated Infection Control and Child Abuse curriculum, along with an annual PPD test, an immunization record, and a physician’s statement of health. Candidates should be prepared for a six-day work week, working directly with campers and their medical needs.

At AHRC New York City Summer Camp, RN's can expect to earn between $1600 and $2160 per week, while LPN's can earn between $1400 and $1890 per week.
