The Head of Sales is the owner of Alanâs growth in Belgium and drives the business on the full cycle with a focus on acquisition.
As such, your targets are to achieve our customers and members growth yearly goals and continue to build and develop a high-performing, scalable go-to-market team to ensure we can grow exponentially to become the market owners by 2030 in Belgium.
More precisely, the role will entail:
Defining goals and strategy to drive recurring revenue on the Belgian Market
Mentoring a highly efficient and productive team of 40 Alaners that enables high growth on the market
Keep recruiting, onboarding and developing a highly performing and committed sales team while ensuring career paths for the future
Continually assess, clarify, and validate strategy and process. Track, measure and report on sales effectiveness and adjust programs and strategies as necessary
Directly contribute to key-strategic deals being involved in the process to maximize performance
Collaborate with Marketing and Product to maximize impact of lead generation, content, and feedback loops on products
Iterate to maximize sales efficiency (tooling, processes, business monitoring...)
Work cross-functionally internally to ensure messaging alignment, operational coordination and evangelisation of the strategy
Work very closely with the Belgian GM and other stakeholders to articulate our global go-to-market approach and create synergies with the other countries on all the different business lines
You may be a great fit at Alan if you have/are:
Significant experience in sales team leadership and coaching
Fluent in Dutch and English
Strong background in sales with an hands-on mentality
Experience in selling to companies from 50 to 5000 employees ideally
Comfortable operating in fast paced environments and managing uncertainty
Experience in scaling large sales teams (20+) at a high pace (X2, X3)
Experience with deployment of proven sales methodologies (Value Selling, Challenger Sale, Consultative Sale...)
Strong analytical skills: used to KPIs, able to run Analysis
Experience in collaborating with cross functional teams (e.g. Strategy, Sales Ops, Marketing, Product, Operations, HR, etc.)
Good B2B marketing culture to help building a strong B2B brand
If you have one of those, it is a big +
Trilingual (Dutch, French, English)
Experience in selling to HR stakeholders
Experience in selling to Public Institutions
Based in Brussels or Ghent
