Development Director White Plains, New YorkAbout the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Director to join our team in the Fairfield CT/Westchester NY market. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for generating revenue to support our mission-driven initiatives.Main Responsibilities:• Achieve ambitious revenue goals through strategic planning and execution of fundraising campaigns.• Solicit large dollar corporate sponsorships, individual donor cultivation, peer-to-peer fundraising, and volunteer committee recruitment for our flagship Go Red for Women campaign.• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop high-quality campaigns that drive results.• Prospect and secure local corporate sponsorship and individual donations.• Build and maintain relationships with prospective corporate sponsors and donors through research and outreach efforts.• Develop and present proposals to secure revenue and volunteer engagement.• Recruit and manage executive volunteer leadership, volunteer committees, and day-of-the-event volunteers.• Coordinate the event auction, including leading a committee to solicit auction items and prepare packages that raise funds.• Support the growth of our Cor Vitae giving society in partnership with other fundraising staff.• Plan and implement events in collaboration with internal and external partners.Requirements:• Minimum 3 years of experience in fundraising, sales, or equivalent experience.• Daily local travel up to 75% required; access to reliable transportation necessary at all times.• Ability to lift and/or move large objects (such as boxes).• Basic knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office.Preferred Qualifications:• University/College degree or equivalent experience.• Experience managing and cultivating high-level leaders at the C-Suite level.• Knowledge of corporate and community networks.Total Rewards Package:We invest in our people and offer a comprehensive total rewards package that includes competitive base salary, performance-based incentives, benefits, work-life harmonization, tuition assistance, and more.
