About us: Anova Care is seeking Personal Care Providers. We are a highly rated and rapidly expanding home care agency reaching from Boulder to Colorado Springs. We pride ourselves in delivering caring and quality service to both our clients and employees. For full transparency, here is our process:

How we hire: We ask you to come to our office twice: first we will do an in-person interview, and after that you will come to the office once to do in-person training and fill out all required paperwork. There are opportunities for future hands-on training as you take on clients, especially individuals with specific routines and/or needing more support. After that training, you are officially one of our Personal Care Providers. Welcome to the Anova Care team!

How we schedule: We take your schedule availability and location into account (we always try for within 20 min of your primary address!). Our care coordinators reach out to you about clients we think you would be a good fit for, based on your personality, experience, and preferences. They'll tell you about the client, what the expected schedule is, the pay rate, and what responsibilities there are. If you decide you would like to work with the client, you're scheduled, and the care coordinator meets you at the clients' home and introduces you upon your initial meeting.

Job Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation to get to client's home.
  • Determine and communicate your schedule availability and communicate with Client Care Coordinators.
  • Experience in Caregiving (personal or professional) is required for this position.
  • Good attendance, punctuality, team work, and a patient / positive attitude please!

Job Description:

Provide support to do health maintenance activities and activities of daily living, which include homemaker and personal care services for the client in their home as identified.

Help with homemaking tasks that may include but are not limited to (these are applicable for most clients):

  • Observing and maintain the home environment.
  • Assisting with household chores including cooking, meal preparation, cleaning and laundry.
  • Assisting in completing activities such as shopping and appointments outside the home.
  • Providing companionship including, but not limited to, social interaction, conversation, emotional reassurance, encouragement of reading, writing, and mind-stimulating activities.
  • Assisting with activities of daily living, personal care, and other assignments included in the service plan.

Assist with personal care responsibilities that may include but are not limited to (these are applicable for some clients):

  • Assisting with positioning, transfers, ambulation and exercise.
  • Assisting with daily hygiene activities.
  • Providing medication reminders.
  • Providing protective oversight as needed.
  • Observing and report any changes from normal to care coordinators.

Pay rate: $20.00 - $25.00. The rate is dependent on the needs of the client, as well as the nature of the shift (for example, a last minute fill-in or a last minute fill-in farther away). You will always be informed of the pay rate when contacted by care coordinators.

Pay frequency: Twice a month, on the 1st and 15th of each month
