Arcade is based in San Francisco and has recently closed a Series A, led by Canaan and co-led by Forerunner.  In total, the company has raised $42M in funding, including from Reid Hoffman, Offline Ventures, Sound Ventures, Inspired Capital, and Adverb Ventures. Angel investors include Sol Bier, Christy Turlington Burns, Elad Gil, Colin Kaepernick, Karlie Kloss, Eugenia Kuyda, David Luan, Kelly Wearstler, Jeff Wilke, and Sharon Zhou.

Role Summary:


We are seeking an AI Intern to enhance our generative AI capabilities through deep technical research and the implementation of cutting-edge techniques. This role involves integrating the latest advancements in AI into our products, driving innovation, and optimizing performance.


Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to train and fine-tune machine learning models and systems.
  • Build machine learning models for various generative AI applications to enhance product capabilities.
  • Develop AI tools that align with product and business requirements, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
  • Collect, preprocess, and analyze large-scale datasets to extract meaningful insights and optimize model performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI technologies, contribute to the research environment, and apply new developments to enhance pipeline performance.


Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong fundamentals in machine learning concepts, with a deep understanding of algorithms and their underlying mechanics ("under the hood").Awareness of the latest advancements, models, and tools in generative AI.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with Linux, with hands-on experience using popular machine learning libraries.
  • Experience in training and fine-tuning AI models and working with large-scale datasets.
  • Proficiency in data preprocessing and data analysis, ensuring high-quality inputs for model training.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
