Responsibilities

The Account Executive, Excess will work in a team setting conducting risk analysis and servicing renewal accounts for the development and retention of our designated lines of business.

 

  • Production and risk analysis of new and renewal account business.
  • Compliance with risk analysis documentation rules and guidelines.
  • Maintain an acceptable risk analysis profit.
  • Adherence to Admiral’s risk management guidelines and referral compliance.
  • Development and maintenance of key broker/agent relationships.
  • Participates in all internal company training and continuing education.
  • Remains current on product releases as it pertains to Excess Casualty.
  • Attends strategic marketing calls to key brokers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Completed coursework toward a Risk Management, and Insurance Degree a plus.
  • Prior work experience in Financial Services, Risk Management or Insurance industry(s) preferable.
  • Applicable coursework toward attainment of a CPCU designation desired.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical proficiency is required.

The company offers a competitive compensation plan and robust benefits package for full time regular employees which for this role includes: Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $95,000 The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Eligible to participate in the annual discretionary bonus program Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Wellness, Paid Time Off, 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plans.
