Job Description

Your contribution to something big

  • Within the scope of your tasks, you are responsible for carrying out simulations (FEM) from the design element to the component level in connected devices (HMI) Products. 
  • Analyze, evaluate, and present the simulations results.  
  • Work in close alignment with design - reliability - testing team for design improvement, optimization, and validation. 
  • Active participation in the development of component-relevant new simulation methods and their successful implementation in ongoing projects.  
  • With your knowledge in plastic and elastomer materials, you develop the targeted material models for the simulation by planning and coordinating the tests for the necessary elastomer and plastic materials.  
  • Through your active participation in the SE (simultaneous engineering)  teams, you provide significant support for component development and contribute to the development of target-oriented and cost-effective solutions through CAE. 
  • You work together with our international CAE network and development teams. 
  • Guarantee accuracy, quality and methodological procure in the simulation processes. 
  • Supporting standardization, harmonization, and documentation of CAE methodologies, including working procedures 

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

  • Experience: contact with the field of simulation and modelling. 
  • Know-how: good knowledge in structural mechanics and FEM (ANSYS Tool), and ideally knowledge in plastics and elastomers adds an advantage. 
  • Personality and way of working: You work systematically and contribute your own solution proposals. You have good communication skills. 
  • Education: You have background from mechanical / automotive / Materials engineering or computational mechanics or mechatronics or a comparable course of study. 
  • Language: you have good communication skills in English, German is added advantage. 
  • Enthusiasm: for biking and aspiration for catalyzing the product development process through simulation.
