Design, architect, build, and support Brightspeed’s end-to-end (E2E) system solutions for Brightspeed’s suite of telecom applications, including development of an E2E migration roadmap (with explicit processes) to support areas of order fulfillment orchestration, inventory, provisioning, and billing domains and defining Key Performance Indicators to assess the progress of system migration and testing. Utilize Java microservices to build a complete, accurate, and comprehensive software migration tool to migrate provisioning applications in a multi-cloud environment (CGP, Azure, and/or AWS). Automate information processes such as configuration item discovery, updates, and relationships in Brightspeed’s E2E systems to map software solutions and applications to business services to improve performance, scalability, and stability. Monitor Brightspeed’s E2E systems for usage trends and performance constraints, and troubleshoot and resolve conflicts between inter-system processes and platforms, including the development of change, asset, incident, and problem management procedures to support application usage and testing. Collaborate with Brightspeed leadership and stakeholders within IT team to design an B2E software solution to support major Brightspeed initiatives addressing information governance, data migration, and risk and cybersecurity measures. Position will be headquartered in Charlotte, NC, and allows for telecommuting from various unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in an engineering field, plus five (5) years post-baccalaureate experience as a Technical Consultant, QA Automation Engineer, or related role in the Information Technology field. Experience must include designing and building end to end data engineering solutions; developing test automation frameworks and parameters; and using Postman, Java, JIRA, SQL, Selenium, APIGEE, and GCP.
