The Partnerships Tech and Operations team is seeking a motivated Manager, Project Manager to join our Partnerships Tech and Operations team. The Partnerships Tech and Operations team provides oversight of and support for the Partnerships credit card programs. We are seeking a dedicated, disciplined professional who excels in a team environment. 

The Role:

As a manager in Partnership Tech and Operations,  you will be responsible for engaging with leaders across U.S. Card and supporting LOBs as well as leaders from our external partners to drive and deliver intent while maintaining the highest levels of well managed excellence.  The Manager will be responsible for leading independently and overseeing BAU well managed activities, delivery of new intent and management of intent changes. The Manager will also be responsible for identifying improvements and establishing well managed processes across both vertical and horizontal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the heart of our the partner and able to represent intent to multiple teams and client stakeholder groups while taking into account the broader end-to-end Card and enterprise needs

  • Review processes and intent end-to-end, through the eye of the business, customers and other key stakeholders, and deliver well-managed products

  • Develop new intent / processes with a focus on documentation and audit readiness

  • Partner cross-functionally to provide strategic and tactical thought leadership to effectively drive results

  • Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to develop strategies and/or ensure delivery of commitments

  • In partnership with stakeholders, prioritize intent with the most business value and deliver on them

  • Create and deliver effective presentations and communications to senior management; guiding and influencing senior management discussions and decisions

  • Drive an Operational Excellence mindset

  • Deliver our well-managed agenda with an eye toward continual process improvement and actively share learnings across the team

  • Train and develop of others, as necessary

  • A curious, learning mindset to understand the needs of our internal and external customers and recommend improvements to better their experience

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience

  • At least 3 years of Process Management, Project Management or Risk Management experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in Relationship Management  

  • At least 1 year of experience using Google Suite       

                

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree or MBA

  • 4+ years of Process Management, Project Management or Risk Management experience

  • 2+ years of Relationship Management experience

  • 3+ years of experience in management of multiple projects concurrently in an autonomous environment

  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

  • Strong communication, problem solving and collaboration skills

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Chicago, IL: $132,800 - $151,600 for Manager, Project Management


 

McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700 for Manager, Project Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
