Our company is expanding and we are looking for an enthusiastic Scrum Master, ready to join a committed and ambitious product development team.


What You’ll Do Here
  • Operate as a team-based servant leader in service to the team's needs and ensure the team is practicing Agile principles 
  • Be the “resident expert” of Agile and Scrum best practices for your Scrum Team(s) 
  • Partner with, coach, and support Product Owner and/or Manager in managing the backlog to ensure it is properly prioritized, estimated, and clearly understood by the team 
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily scrum, retrospectives, and sprint reviews) and help prepare the team for Quarterly/Program Increment (PI) planning activities 
  • Establish, track, and communicate Agile metrics (such as team velocity and sprint progress/burn down/up charts), helping the team to focus on delivery of high-quality features on a predictable, sustainable cadence 
  • Promote continuous improvement by coaching the team to use metrics to identify and measure progress 
  • Protect the team from interruptions and distractions, helping maximize their focus and throughput 
  • Identify, remove, and/or escalate risks, roadblocks, and cross-team dependencies that are unresolvable by the team and interfere with the team's ability to deliver commitments 
  • Interact with other Scrum Masters and Product Owners to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization and cross-squad/cross-functional collaboration on delivery execution 
  • Continuously learn new approaches to facilitation, Agile best practices, and how to improve team dynamics


Experience We’re Looking For
  • Must-Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or any acceptable combination of education, experience, and training 7+ years of relevant work experience, i.e., on Agile One or more certifications in Agile or Scrum (ex: CSM, CSPO, etc.) 
  • Significant experience working with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools (e.g. Jira, ADO) 
  • Proven track record of delivering complex software projects with distributed and/or offshore teams 
  • At least some technical software knowledge/experience, being able to quickly understand and convey technical concepts, issues, etc. with the less-technical areas of the business 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and problem solving skills 
  • Self-starter attitude, not relying on those around you to take action before you jump in

  • Nice-to-Have: 
  • Deep knowledge of the more complex settings, configurations, and automations of tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc. 
  • Advanced Agile or Scrum certifications (A-CSM, etc.) 
  • Spanish language proficiency 
  • Experience working in the point-of-sale software industry 
  • Experience working in a restaurant or retail environment, where you interacted with point-of-sale systems regularly
