The Fire Department, City of New York (FDNY), seeks a Chaplain in the Family Assistance Unit. Reporting directly to the Assistant Commissioner of Family Assistance, the successful candidate will provide spiritual guidance and moral support and conduct religious services as required. The Chaplain will administer rites and religious educational programs; make pastoral calls and counsel individuals and families regarding personal, moral and spiritual matters; maintain liaison and cooperative relationships with social service agencies and other community organizations.
