The New York City Department of Correction (DOC) is an integral part of the City’s evolving criminal justice system, participating in reform initiatives and strategies aimed to move the City towards a smaller jail system without compromising public safety. The IT Division is in need of a Sr. Voice Technical Engineer Supervisor. Assisting the Telecom Manager with overseeing a team of approx. 8 Technicians. Responsible for all the installation, configuration and support of DOC Voice Communications running on both Cisco IP Telephony and Legacy Harris PBX systems. Responsible for 24x7 support and coverage across all DOC operations and facilities in the City of NY.

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering or a related field and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to information technology service management, process management, operations;
2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related to information technology service management, process management, operations;
3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above.
