ORMD also contributes to City-tax levy savings for the City. The Bureau of Case Integrity & Eligibility Verification’s mission is to identify system enhancements to improve claiming and to avoid overpayments, as well as working with program areas to prevent potential errors by reviewing records of Cash Assistance and Medical Insurance and Community Services Administration (MICSA) cases and analyzing their contents for material that might retroactively identify Federal and State obligations that had not previously been recognized.
