The Office of Revenue Management and Development (ORMD) is a major revenue-producing office within HRA; it contributes to creating PEG revenue, generates additional State and Federal Reimbursement. ORMD also contributes to City-tax levy savings for the City. The Bureau of Case Integrity & Eligibility Verification’s mission is to identify system enhancements to improve claiming and to avoid overpayments, as well as working with program areas to prevent potential errors by reviewing records of Cash Assistance and Medical Insurance and Community Services Administration (MICSA) cases and analyzing their contents for material that might retroactively identify Federal and State obligations that had not previously been recognized.
The Office of Revenue Management and Development (ORMD) is recruiting one (1) Principal Administrative Associate III to function as the Unit Supervisor in the Medicaid Data Analysis Unit who will:
Supervise and guide a team of Principal Administrative Associate IIs (PAAIIs) involved in projects related to determining, reviewing, and analyzing Medicaid (MA) case records to identify retroactive obligations and to establish the effective date of reimbursement adjustments, based on case record entries and the date of changes or occurrences.
Oversee the projects managed by PAAIIs under your supervision, ensuring they review and provide documentation for Duplicate Client Identification Number (CIN) cases, determining which CIN should be disenrolled to improve the quality of clearance matches and prevent future duplicate CIN assignments.
Review files produced by the Office of Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) for Medicaid (MA) recipients identified with multiple active Client Identification Numbers (CINs), with the goal of ending individuals' enrollment in multiple Medicaid Managed Care plans. Additionally, address Invalid Social Security Number files generated through Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) queries to assist in reducing fraud.
Ensure staff perform quality assurance on EMEDNY, Medicaid Data Warehouse (MDW), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) MA queries, and WMS look-ups.

PRINCIPAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOC - 10124
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, one year of which must have been in an administrative capacity or supervising staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than moderate difficulty; or
2. An associate degree or 60 semester credits from an accredited college and four years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience including one year of the administrative supervisory experience described in "1" above; or
3. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and five years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience including one year of the administrative supervisory experience as described in "1" above;
4. Education and/or experience equivalent to "1", "2", or "3" above. However, all candidates must possess the one year of administrative or supervisory experience as described in "1" above. Education above the high school level may be substituted for the general clerical/administrative experience (but not for the one year of administrative or supervisory experience described in "1" above) at a rate of 30 semester credits from an accredited college for 6 months of experience up to a maximum of 3½ years.
