Position Summary:
Cooper Standard is looking to partner with students seeking a mechanical or chemical engineering degree. Candidates should possess technical competence, a solid work ethic, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Students will participate in our rotational program which includes exposure to rubber and plastic sealing, fuel / brake lines, fluid transfer hoses and “hands-on” experience in labs and other facilities.

As part of our rotational program, you’ll gain hands-on experience with rubber and plastic sealing, fluid transfer hoses, and fuel/brake lines. You will be tasked with completing basic project development tasks, from writing and verifying specifications to conducting tests on materials and processes. Collaborating with technical and business teams, you will even have the chance to propose innovative solutions while preparing documentation and reports to communicate your findings. Ideally, you should be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with a GPA of 2.8 or higher.
