Cooper's 663-bed hospital in Camden has more than 33,000 admissions and more than 83,000 emergency department visits each year including from all 50 states and 35 countries. Short Description

Cooper University Health Care and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as the Chair/Chief of the Department of Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging.

 

Highlights of the Department of Radiology:

  • Lead a team with access to 4 hospital-based CT units with dual energy capability and 2 MRI units, showcasing cutting-edge technology.
  • Outpatient capacity is being updated and expanded to 3 MRI and 3 CT with plans for dual energy/dual source capabilities and PET/CT.

Experience Required

  • Medical Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Radiology, with a strong track record in clinical care, education, and research.
  • Academic Appointment: Eligible for an academic appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or higher, preferably Full Professor.
  • Commitment: Demonstrated commitment to the values of compassion and excellence in academic medicine.
