We are seeking a Data Product Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Data Product Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and management of data products that drive insights and decision-making within the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, data scientists, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products that meet business needs.


Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable product features and specifications. 
  • Assist in prioritizing product features based on business value, technical complexity, and other factors. 
  • Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to define data requirements, data models, and data processing pipelines. 
  • Assist in the design and implementation of data products, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget. 
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback to iterate on product features and improve usability. 
  • Assist in the documentation of product features, user guides, and training materials. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in data product management and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data products and processes. 


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. 
  • Basic understanding of data analysis techniques and statistical methods. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. 
  • Prior experience with Agile methodologies is a plus. 
  • Ideally experience or strong interest in working with Large Language Models (LLMs) or Machine Learning technologies, including their application in data analysis and decision-making. 


€37,000 - €48,000 a year
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees.
