The Global Addressable Media team is working across London and Amsterdam, delivering digital media services to connect brands with consumers via best-in-class digital ad experiences and drive sustainable growth. We believe in the core principle of Value for All, by leading the transformation of the digital advertising industry so it creates an honest, clear & meaningful value exchange for our people, clients, society, consumers and the media industry. Together with 100 like-minded colleagues we run digital campaigns for advertisers over 50+ markets around the world. We have over 30 different nationalities in our teams and work closely with teams of Google, Meta, Amazon and many others to learn and use the most of those technologies. What are you going to do?

The purpose of the HEINEKEN Global Client Partner role is to strategically lead HEINEKEN’s global digital media business across all area’s; client management, solutions, commercials, product, talent, operational excellence, and thought leadership (more detail in key accountabilities).
 

The Global Client Partner HEINEKEN reports into the Head of Clients within dentsu’ GAM Team, leads a team of 30+ digital media specialists in dentsu and other agencies, forms a team with peers of other client partners within GAM, and works closely together with a wide range of different internal and external stakeholders on client-, agency-, and partnership side.


We are looking for a dynamic individual with a proven track record in managing client relationships within paid media, a strong strategic mindset, and exceptional communication skills. You should be adept at navigating complex challenges and leveraging data to enhance client outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Effective stakeholder management and the ability to work across diverse teams and markets will be critical to your success in this senior position..

What are you going to achieve?

The Global Client Partner HEINEKEN has the core responsibility to strategically lead HEINEKEN’s global digital media business across all area’s; client management, solutions, commercials, product, talent, operational excellence, and thought leadership:

  • Client & stakeholder management – lead the relationship with our key HEINEKEN clients by being a trusted advisor, pro-actively providing solutions to challenges, and partnering with other internal and external stakeholders in your role. Develop and implement an annual strategy – built on a long-term vision for digital media, and a deep understanding of HEINEKEN’s asks and needs with bespoke digital media solutions;
  • Solutions – Partner with the GAM Head of Solutions and Head of Capability in the translation of HEINEKEN needs into a unique, ambitious offering setting dentsu apart and ahead in the global market;
  • Commercials – own and grow the HEINEKEN business, hold accountability for the HEINEKEN Profit & Loss on GAM-level, incorporate up- and cross-selling on dentsu global level;
  • Product & Partnerships – partner with our product & partnerships team to drive innovation on the HEIENEKEN digital media business;
  • Talent – work together with GAM Leadership and your HEINEKEN management team to lead an integrated, collaborative and engaged team, designed around client needs and driving a culture according to dentsu’s values;
  • Operational excellence – partner with your team and GAM leadership on operational excellence to ensure best-in-class process adherence, and implementation of best practice;
  • Thought Leadership – maintain your external network and drive PR and awards by sharing thought leadership and our best-in-class work.

Who are you?

  • You are a native Dutch speaker and fluent in English;
  • You have 10+ years’ extensive experience in digital marketing- and/or media roles and minimal 1-2 years’ experience working hands-on in digital media platforms;
  •  You are a strategic, trusted advisor to clients and can build deep client relationships;
  • You have a deep understanding of the digital media landscape and evolving client needs;
  • You are resilient, can proactively address challenges and are capable of challenging the status quo to drive improvement;
  • You are collaborative, an excellent communicator, able and confident to represent our business;
  • You enjoy managing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across various teams, countries and cultures globally and can demonstrate that you have great leadership and influencing skills;
  • You have strong people management skills and have experience with directly managing, developing and leading a team. You can inspire and connect talent and clients across teams;
  • You have proven expertise in effectively managing a business commercially (e.g. controlling a P&L, annual and monthly forecasting, resource planning);
  • You have a passion for the digital media industry, are up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies and like to share your point of view;
  • You share our vision for an advertising industry that creates an honest, clear & meaningful value exchange for our all; our clients, consumers and society;
