Sr. Data Scientist

Position Duties:

  • Lead data science proofs-of-concept. (30%)

  • Design the solution approach.

  • Lead development and testing of machine learning and optimization models.

  • Lead development and testing of back-end data pipelines.

  • Prototype new product pages and features. (35%)

  • Collaborate with Product Managers in product/feature design. (15%)

  • Collaborate with Developers to implement data science solutions into the software. (10%)

  • Contribute to platform architecture design. (5%)

  • Contribute feature/product ideas to the product roadmap. (5%)

Education/Experience Requirements: Master’s Degree Analytics, Data Science, or

closely related major & 24 months of experience as data scientist.

Special Requirements: 2 years’ work experience and proficiency in (1) Python, Java,

and SQL, (2) Stochastic processes and simulation methods, (3) mathematical

optimization methods (4) statistical learning and AI Methods (4) macroeconomics and

supply chain concepts, and (5) data visualization tools.
