You will be exposed to the entire project life cycle, work with the biggest developers and financiers in the space with cutting edge technology. The primary functions of these positions include supporting major customer accounts, performing project due diligence, managing projects, contributing to process improvements, sharing knowledge, obtaining and receiving feedback, and a bit of business development including developing proposals. Our teams work across all scales of projects, and depending on your experience and interest, you would focus on residential, distributed generation, or utility scale systems.DNV is the world’s leading renewable energy consultant. The actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. For the states of California, Washington, New York, Washington, D.C., Illinois, and Maryland only, the starting pay range for this role is $120,000 - $155,000.”About YouWhat is Required• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, science, business, energy, or other related field is required• Minimum 6 years of experience in the solar industry• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and deft project and time management skills, including an ability to balance multiple projects under tight deadlines• Fluent in MS Office• Solution oriented thinking skills and high integrity• Strong understanding of energy industry technology (modules, inverters, mounting systems/trackers, balance of system, etc.)• Working knowledge of the solar project financing process (direct experience preferred)• Supportive and proactive team member, eager to work in a collaborative environment• Proven HSE mindset and demonstrated behavior-based safety mentality• We conduct pre-employment background and drug screeningsWhat Is Preferred• Master’s degree• Some concentration of experience in at least one of the following: solar industry construction and operating contracts, solar project construction, operations/asset management, solar project design/development, module/inverter technology, energy assessment, power marketing/offtake contracting, energy storage technology and implementation, market research/policy, or in the independent engineering function• Exposure to contracts (construction, supply, operations, interconnection, offtake, subscription, and/or asset management contracts)• Familiarity with budgets and financial models• Working knowledge of PVsyst and solar energy assessment• Working knowledge of relevant National Electric Code• Project management designation or experience• Industry thought leadership experience• Familiarity with energy storage systems• Immigration-related employment benefits, for example visa sponsorship, are not available for this position**
