Job Description

  • Location: Ringwood, on the lands of the Wurundjeri People
  • Employment Type: Multiple part-time positions available. Permanent. 1 x 0.6FTE & 1 x 0.7FTE.
  • Salary: $43.27-47.33 p/h

Empower Lives Through Financial Education!

Join us and help individuals build financial resilience! Work alongside financial counsellors and health professionals to deliver one-on-one and group-based financial literacy education and coaching—face-to-face and online. Support those impacted by housing stress, helping them develop money management skills and make informed financial decisions. No financial counselling required—just your passion for empowerment!

    What You’ll Do:

    • Assess financial situations and eligibility for support
    • Deliver engaging financial literacy education and coaching
    • Help clients develop money management skills through workshops and 1 on 1 coaching
    • Identify risks (e.g., family violence) and connect clients to the right services
    • Build partnerships and referral pathways
    • Maintain accurate client records and stay updated on industry trends

    What You’ll Bring:

    • Diploma or higher in Community Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
    • Willingness to complete key financial literacy education units
    • A current driver’s license
    • Strong people skills and a knack for building relationships
    • Experience in financial literacy, training, or facilitation (a plus!)
